Maureen Reilly, the president of the NP Athletic Booster Club, invited Net Love to their monthly meeting to give an update.

The Net Love team introduced themselves and described the impact to the environment from used tennis balls and how Net Love’s Mission and Goals help address the issue.

Additionally, the presentation included highlights from the previous year:

  • Almost 32,000 balls collected
  • Over 2,400 Instagram followers
  • 2023 Everyday Young Hero Award from YSA
  • New Chapters in Orinda, California and Miami, Florida
  • Grand Prize Winner of Lead4Change ($10,000)
  • Bow Seat / Future Blue Youth Council Fellowship grant ($2,500)
  • Recycleballs.org Youth Ambassador Program
  • 2023 Green Business of New Providence
  • Top 10 finalist Seton Hall Pirate Pitch Competition
  • 1st place at Alfred University Circular Economy Business Leadership Competition
  • 501(c)(3) designation and NJ Charities Registration

And finally thet Net Love team presented a Certificate of Apppreciation as a Special Thank You to NPHS Athletric Booster Club for their support in helping us launch this entire initiative!
